While trying new MidJourney functions that generate short video clips, we envisioned a collaboration between the eyewear brand Gentle Monster and Samsung Electronics.
Smart Glasses Technology
This concept imagines a bold new generation of smart glasses, merging fashion with advanced wearable tech. The design brings together Gentle Monster’s sculptural, fashion-forward aesthetic and Samsung’s technological innovation, resulting in a device that is both elegant and intelligent.
Powered by Android XR, these smart glasses are equipped with front-facing micro-cameras, real-time AR capabilities, intuitive voice control, and seamless integration with Samsung’s ecosystem. At the core of the experience is Gemini, an AI system developed in collaboration with Samsung, enabling contextual intelligence, dynamic visual overlays, and real-time information processing.
This project arrives at a pivotal moment for the smart eyewear industry. Earlier experiments, like Google Glass, paved the way, but faced barriers in public acceptance, user experience, and technical feasibility. Today, thanks to advancements in augmented reality, miniaturized components, and cross-platform integration, the landscape is ready for a new era.
